I am Nyamney Lhamo, a name bestowed upon me by my root Lama, Khenchen Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche. I was born in 2009 in Dolpa village, in Nepal. It was my mother’s wish that I become a nun and I agreed. In 2016, I joined Tek Chok Ling Nunnery. The first months I cried in the night because I was not used to sleep alone in my bed - I always slept with my grandmother. Then I felt happy and grateful. In 2017, I got the chance to attend SMD School, and it was a great opportunity for me. My favorite subjects are computer science and English. In my free time I like to write poems in English, to draw, and to learn Chinese and Korean.

Know this life to be like a dream.
See the mind’s unborn nature.
Aspire to be of benefit to others.
