Ani Khenrap Palmo grew up in Bhutan, and is the daughter of Khenpo Rinpoche’s long time attendant, the late Karma Dargye, who walked out of Tibet with Rinpoche. She had ten years of schooling in Bhutan. Ani Khenrap Palmo is very capable and calm in dealing with administrative matters when more senior nuns are away. She teaches English at Tek Chok Ling, works in the office and does transcription. She also translates for Rinpoche on occasion, during interview. Activities she likes include doing pujas and singing the songs of Milarepa. She has completed ngondro in a six-month retreat and has also done a one-year Amitabha retreat. She hopes to do a three-year retreat in the future.
